The Welland Yacht Club has lots to offer: Dinghy racing, cruising, coaching and an active social calendar. Racing takes place every Sunday between April and November, with a winter series from November until Boxing day featuring a mixed handicap fleet featuring: Graduates, Lasers, Solos, Enterprises, Europe & Toppers. Cadets are well catered for with races and coaching for all levels.
The club has a number of club boats, ranging from RS Visions to Optimist, that are available for members to use. The club is now a recognised RYA training establishment and offers a variety of sailing and powerboat course

Use of club slipway
​
The club also has a slipway which can be used by members of the public to launch boats. This service is only available during sailing times or by prior arrangement and £5 per day is charged to cover costs.
